Distant telephone subscriber rerouting interconnection technique and control boxes where the control boxes reroute calls when responses through first path are not obtained during set period
The subscriber interconnection technique has a telephone network providing voice and service channels to tiered subscribers. The subscriber called and the tiered subscribers are connected to the network via control boxes (B1,B2). When a phone call (L0) does not respond within a set time, an identifier is sent to the control box, and the box transmits the second control box on a service channel (L1). The second control box identifies the initial call and reroutes the call to the first control box (L2). The initial call is then passed to the telephone being called via this new route (L3).
