The watercraft includes a pair of elongated hull bodies (12,14) in-between which a cross member containing several parallelogram linkages (20A-20D) pivotally coupled to one another in end to end relationship are extending for providing adjustable parallel space. A pivot unit secures the hull bodies to opposing ends of the cross member such that the hull bodies are adapted to the rotated individually about an axis parallel to fore and aft axes through an angle of 180degs. An actuator is connected to the parallelogram linkages for extending and retracting the cross member. A pair of masts are secured to the cross member at their ends in the vicinity of the pivot unit.
