The value tracking is performed either by punching out circular dots on the card or by displacing a cursor (3) along a track. The cursor runs in a slot (4) in the card, running in guides (5,6) on either side of the slot. A scale (10) below the track provides a numeric indication of value. The cursor can be displaced manually or automatically by a pin engaging a hole in the cursor.
