Synchronous motor with control circuit, has rotor drive controller which uses different logic for generating drive signals to rotate rotor in mutually different directions
Rotor position detectors (23U-23W) are arranged corresponding to stator poles (1,2,6). A rotor drive controller is connected to rotor position detection equipments, each of which is inclined at preset angle with respect to center position of every stator pole. The rotor drive controller uses different logic for generation of drive signals to rotate the rotor in mutually different directions. The rotor drive controller regulates the supply timing of rotor drive signals which are to be fed to respective coils of stator poles, for every corresponding phase. The synchronous motor is a switched reluctance three phase motor. The rotor position detection equipments are Hall ICs. The transmission of rotor position signals output by the detection equipments, is delayed by a delay circuit, in accordance with rotational speed of motor.
