Pairing comprising particularly two aluminum alloy extruded profiles with flange walls spaced apart involves rib-type connecting part of one profile engaging in groove-type formation in other profile
After the engagement of the connecting rib-type part in the groove-type formation, the profiles are welded to each other at the connecting part. The free end of the rib-type connecting part (30) is centered to the wall of the groove-type formation. The rib-type connecting part has a longitudinal groove open to the profile outer surface (12a), over which a nose formation (13) of the other profile engages. The profile outer surfaces (12,12a) of the profiles (10,10a) are aligned with one another in the centered state. The rib-type connecting part and the groove type formation have a cross-sectional part-circle shaped contour.
