Feeding and/or watering device for domestic animals has sensor for detecting respiration parameter used for identifying animal for corresponding control of feeding and/or watering device
The feeding and/or watering device has a pen for positioning the animal relative to feed and/or water delivery organ (18) provided with an associated sensor (30) detecting the respiration of the animal and providing an output corresponding to at least one respiration parameter. The sensor is coupled to a processor (34), comparing the sensor output with stored values for identification of the animal and corresponding control of the feed and/or watering device.
