Method for image-guided treatment of patient; involves providing X-ray image for treatment area and reference structure, and using navigation system to determine position of treatment device on image
The method involves providing at least one X-ray image for a treatment area using an X-ray unit (10), and simultaneously obtaining an image of a reference structure (17). The spatial position of the reference structure is determined using a camera-supported navigation system. Position data of treatment devices, obtained with a navigation system, are displayed in the correct arrangement on the X-ray image, using a single computer. Position data of the target, which are determined from the X-ray image and the navigation system, are connected in a single computer (C) with a single screen (S), so that position data of treatment devices, which are determined using the navigation system, are displayed on the screen in the correct arrangement to the position on the X-ray image. An Independent claim is included for a device for implementing the method.
