Removing soil and stones from potatoes and carrots involves removing coarse soil residues vegetables with water jet, softening vegetables by soaking in water,and then feeding through brush-equipped cleaning station
In the automatic process and assembly to remove soil from agricultural products especially potatoes or carrots, the coarse soil residues are first removed from the vegetable by a water jet, which are then softened by soaking in water. The water-soaked vegetable is then fed through a brush-equipped cleaning station. The used water is returned to a treatment station which is filtered and rendered fit for re-use in the same process.
