In this equipment, the simulation model (11) is transmitted from the first simulator (10) to a first input/output (I/O) unit (22). Following transmission, the model is analyzed by a processor (24) into individual operators (12), also storing operator allocations (16). All operators (12) are gathered into an operator library (15). With the help of the operator allocations (16), the second simulator (17) integrates this (15) as external operators (19) which are semantically-equivalent. A second I/O unit issues the operator library and makes the operator allocation (16) available. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding process.
