Procedure for transporting in-flight provisions from lower deck to upper deck in passenger aircraft involves transporting container on lower deck and when reaching opening in floor orientating container on guide elements in upper deck
The feed container in the lower deck(4) is placed at a predetermined starting position, and the alignment of the container is effected in accordance with the x-y coordinates of the lower deck. The container starting from the initial position is transported in the z-direction. When reaching an opening in the floor the container is orientated on guide elements in the upper deck and sent on, and after reaching the final position in the middle passenger deck(3) the transporting ceases. An Independent claim is included for a transporting system for in-flight provisions from a lower deck to an upper deck which has a lifting device equipped with a stand element and a transporting mast, and an inclining device to align the transporting mast to the coordinates of the final position.
