Surge pot for installing in fuel tank of motor vehicle has mixing pipe running in base of surge pot, and bottom valve closing or opening mixing pipe depending upon static or dynamic pressure in mixing pipe
A mixing pipe(9) runs in the base of the surge pot(3), and a bottom valve(5) closes or opens the mixing pipe depending upon a static or dynamic pressure in the mixing pipe. The bottom valve is installed at the end of the mixing pipe which may be manufactured in one piece with the surge pot. The bottom valve has a shut-off ball(13) spring-loaded in the closed position and locating in a seat(12) in this position.
