Nozzle to form jet of water in water jet cutting heads has wear-resistant nozzle inserts fitted one behind other in point of body's central bore and forming nozzle segments of different shapes which form jet pipe
Wear-resistant nozzle inserts(5-7) are fitted one behind the other in the point(3) of the body's central bore(2) which widens out into a housing(4). The bore is an extension of the collimation pipe of a high pressure water line. The nozzle inserts form nozzle segments(8-10) of different shapes which form a jet pipe with sections of varying form. The nozzle inserts are made from different wear-resistant material pieces. The segments of the outer inserts widen out in funnel form to produce a favourable inlet and outlet geometry.
