The backrest(7) of the child's seat on the shopping trolley has an opening(10) covered by an information display unit which has two oppositely disposed holder profiles(12) which support an intermediate plate(16) installed within the contour of two vertical rods. The holder profiles have at least one slot(14) for optional mounting of an information carrier(19), and are locked onto an upper and a lower horizontal rod(8a,8b) which form a part of the contour of the opening.
