Conveyor system for pallet stacking and destacking operations has two conveyor tracks crossing in region of stacking and destacking unit, and gripper arm enables smaller pallets to be stacked next to each other on larger pallets
Two conveyor tracks(3,4) cross in the region of the stacking and destacking unit(1). Pallets are transportable on the first conveyor track(3) and their base surface is an even numbered multiple of the smaller pallets(2b) transported on the second conveyor track(4). The gripper arm(13) is constructed so that the smaller pallets are stacked next to each other on the larger pallets(2a). The smaller pallets have a length which corresponds approximately to the width of the larger pallets and a width corresponding to approximately half the length of the larger pallets.
