Laser beam deflection device for hand-held laser scanner has light detector providing electrical signal for each scanned symbol used for controlling deflection of laser beam for subsequent representation of symbol
The laser beam deflection device as in P19802516.5 has a light detector (34), e.g. a photo-sensitive semiconductor, with a detection range corresponding to the deflection range of the laser beam (31), positioned on the same side as the exit opening for the laser beam. An Independent claim for a symbol representation method using a deflected laser beam is also included.
