PURPOSE: A method for implementing an English conversation dictionary of a mobile communication terminal is provided to have an English conversation dictionary function without adding another circuit, so as to improve convenience. CONSTITUTION: If an initial menu is displayed in an idle state, and an English conversation dictionary function is selected by an English conversation start key, a terminal displays an upper menu mode for selecting whether an English conversation starts in a displayer(4). The terminal inputs required sentences or characters, by using a character key. If a Korean alphabet/English conversion key is inputted, the terminal transmits the sentences and the characters to a memory(6) of an application service center, through a transmission network. When Korean alphabet sentences are converted into English sentences, and English sentences are converted into Korean alphabet sentences, the terminal receives the converted characters or the converted sentences through the transmission network. The terminal displays the converted characters or the sentences in the displayer(4). If a different key is inputted, the terminal displays the upper menu mode in the displayer(4).
