PURPOSE: A hydro-cyclone method is provided which selectively refines impurities in sericite-like porcelain stone minerals so that it raises actual yield and quality of the refined products. CONSTITUTION: The hydro-clone method of sericite-like porcelain stone materials comprises the steps of: (i) a first process wherein the porcelain stone is crushed using Jaw crusher, crushed again using Cone crusher, stored at an intermediate storage bath by dry vibration screen and then a certain amount of stored materials are selectively crushed to eliminate emulsifying material impurities by a flotation machine, paramagnetic material by low performance magnetic separator and non-magnetic material by high performance magnetic separator; (ii) a second process which hydro-cyclones the first product to separate porcelain stone and quartz; (iii) a third process which concentrates the separated porcelain stone by decanter, dehydrates by high pressure large-scaled filter press to make cake-like product, ships or dries and then ships; and (iv) a fourth process which dehydrates the separated quartz by sand unite or by filter press.
