Purpose: it provides a method, for the asynchronous transfer mode signal processing using a kind of local multipoint distribution service (LMDS) system, in addition to a charge, one head end device executes all service functions, to can be applied to LMDS systems in the equipment on the side of head end device, internal structure without change. For being arranged to be made into using a real time signal processing as all signal processings in head end device using the method for an ATM. Construction: in the method using a kind of asynchronous transfer mode signal processing of local multipoint distribution service (LMDS) system, one head end device executes signal handler processing and control user data, it, which is passed through, emits from a wireless media of many subsets, therefore many subsets transmit self data's through channel, are distributed by a signal handler. Method contains step. In the first step, a subsets request head end device is for assigning a channel. Second step is the verifying for identifying subsets. Third step is the subsets met one that assign a channel, according to the identification of the verifying of subsets.
