PURPOSE: An oil spill dispersant, which is characterized by containing alkylpolyglycoside, excellent in biodegradability and being less harmful to marine ecosystem, is provided. The oil spill dispersant has better dispersion property in wide range of temperature deviation than prior arts. Also, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleic acid is added to enhance its dispersion property. CONSTITUTION: An oil spill dispersant comprises 6-24 wt.% of alkylpolyglycoside, 0.5-10 wt.% of polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleic acid ester, and water. The alkylpolyglycoside is a mixture of an alkylpolyglycoside comprising alkyl chain having 8 carbon atoms and an alkylpolyglycoside comprising alkyl chain having 10 carbon atoms. Each degree of polymerization above two alkylpolyglycosides is 1.8, and its mixing ratio is 0.5:1 - 5:1 by weight.
