PURPOSE: A multi network VOD(Video On Demand) system for home theater and a method for supplying the home theater are provided to enable users to select what they require and to enjoy the multi media at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A multi network VOD system for home theater includes a mass storage(200), a plurality of home theaters(400), a server(100), and a switching module(300). The mass storage(200) stores a plurality of MPEG2 video signals and audio signals. The home theaters include a digital screen and plurality of speakers and a set top box, respectively. The server(100) writes the video or audio signals on the storage or reads the signals from the storage. The switching module(300) transfers a request signal from users for supplying the signals from the storage to the set top boxes of the home theaters.
