PURPOSE: An internet information retreival system for exclusively retreival local information and internet information retreival method using the system is provided to quickly and accurately search desired information of a specific region by limiting an entire retreival range as a region related to local information. CONSTITUTION: A user determines a desired query object local name(S10). The user determines a query object subject word(S20). An interface manager determines a query object domain name of the user inputted through a domain name input window of a retreival web page(S30). The interface manager determines a query object keyword of the user inputted through a keyword input window of the retreival web page(S40). The interface manager searches a local information list previously stored in an index D/B with reference to the query object local name, the query object subject word, the query object domain name, and the query object keyword, and outputs a retreival result document by a prior sequence(S50).
