The composition embodying the invention comprises anextract of chrysanthellum and at least one of thefollowing compounds : a plant extract which is rich inphenolic compounds, a plant extract which is rich incarotenoids, a plant oil which is rich in tocopherols,an antioxidant of natural or synthetic origin and anenzymatic system for trapping free radicals. Thiscomposition exploits synergistic radical-scavengingbetween the chrysanthellum and the aforesaid compounds.
