"AMBULATORY PATIENT MONITORING APPLIANCE; SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A PATIENT; AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A PATIENT". It is an outpatient patient monitoring device, which includes a portable enclosure that includes at least one operating physiological data entry device to collect the patient's physiological data, a circuit for determining the location of the operating patient to determine the patient's geographic location information, a cell phone communications circuit to communicate physiological data and geographic location information to a central health monitoring station, a voice communications circuit through which the patient establishes communications via voice with a clinician at the central health monitoring station, a digital signal processing circuit to process the signals associated with any of the physiological data input device, the location determination circuit, the cell phone communications circuit and the circuit voice communications, and a control circuit to control any of the digital signal processing circuit, the physiological data input device, the location determination circuit, the cell phone communications circuit and the communications circuit via voice.
