PURPOSE:To improve the combustion efficiency of the air-floated pulverized coal injected from a double-pipe lance projecting into a plow pipe for supplying hot air to a blast furnace or into a tuyere. CONSTITUTION:A female screw 5 is cut inside a mounting seat 4 provided at the top of a double-pipe lance 3. Four U-shaped notches 6 are formed on the periphery of the tip of a coupling 8. A diffuser 7 having a conical base is furnished at the center in the coupling. A male screw 9 cut outside the coupling 8 is freely detachably fixed to the female screw 5 of the seat 4. The air-floated pulverized coal flowing in the inner pipe 1 is mixed with a cooling gas supplied from the outer pipe 2, the mixture is collided with the conical base of the diffuser 7, a part is passed through the notch 6 and diffused, the remainder travels rectilinearly along the coupling 8 and is diffused, and hence the combustion efficiency is improved.
