PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a system using a gas adsorption/desorption reaction material by using a heat transfer accelerating material having a diameter or a width in a specified range and an aspect ratio equal to or above a specific value. SOLUTION: The acicular or lamina shaped heat transfer accelerating material having 1-1000 m diameter or width and the aspect ratio of =5 is used. As the heat transfer accelerating material, carbon fiber or metallic fiber of Cu, Ag, Mg or the like having higher heat conductivity than that of the gas adsorption/desorption material is preferable. The heat transfer accelerating material is uniformly mixed by a mixer in the mixing ratio of 0.5-20% by weight per total weight of the gas adsorption/desorption reaction material, the heat transfer accelerating material and other auxiliary materials add is filled in a vessel or formed into a molding by compression molding to be used. The heat conductivity of the gas adsorption/ desorption reaction material is improved without causing the increase of the bulk.
