PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of recording the execution history of a function in an execution module at a high speed as execution history data accompanied with the argument information of the respective functions. SOLUTION: This execution history recording method has a source program analytic part 2 for analyzing a source program (A)1, acquiring the argument information of respective functions to be executed by this program and preserving these acquired argument information of the respective functions as a database 3 respectively and a code inserting part 4 for analyzing the source program (A)1 and inserting an instruction code for acquiring the argument information of the relevant functions preserved in the database 3 into the start and end sections of each function defined by this program and when the execution module prepared from a source program (A')5 into which the instruction code is inserted, is executed, the execution history data acquired by the inserted instruction code are recorded in a log information part 6.
