PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform advance collection of only a URL included in a pertinent electronic mail by discriminating an electronic mail transmitter including only the useful URL in a system where file objects corresponding to URLs are collected in advance at the time of reception. ;SOLUTION: This method performs selective advance acquisition of file objects in an information communication system and includes a step where sender discrimination information included in an electronic mail received from an electronic mail server computer 704 and a file object name are stored as a pair, a step where a reliability coefficient is given to stored sender discrimination information on the basis of names of file objects 702 and 703 which a user acquired from an information providing server computer 701, a step where a list of file object names included in the electronic mail including the sender discrimination information is generated on the basis of the reliability coefficient, and a step where file objects 702 and 703 of file object names included in the list are automatically acquired from the information providing server computer 701 and are stored.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
