PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-containing gel of novel composite with an allyl biguanide polymer as the constituent, and to provide a method for producing the same. ;SOLUTION: This water-containing gel of composite is composed of an allyl biguanide polymer and poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide). This method for producing a water-containing gel of composite composed of an allyl biguanide polymer and poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) comprises reacting an allyl biguanide polymer with poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide monomer in the presence of a cross-linking agent for the monomer, after the aqueous solution containing these components is formed into a desired shape, which is held during the reaction process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
