PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition capable of giving coating films antifogging nature, adhesiveness to film, resistance to broken wrinkles, resistance to whitening on stretching, etc., comprising specific polyurethane emulsion(s) and colloidal silica particles and/or colloidal alumina particles. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) at least one kind of anionic polyurethane emulsion selected from polyester anionic polyurethane emulsions and polycarbonate ones and (B) colloidal silica particles and/or colloidal alumina particles 5-70μm in mean particle diameter at the weight ratio A/B of (3:7) to (7:3) on a solid basis. The component A can be obtained, for example, by reaction of a bifunctioinal hydroxyl group-terminated polyester diol or carbonate diol with a diisocyanate compound to produce a urethane prepolymer, which is then made to react with an anionic group-bearing chain extender such as 2-carboxy-2-methylpropane-1,3-diol in an aqueous medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
