The invention relates to a method of coating a component (4) of a high-temperature fuel cell (2) with at least one vitreous layer (8, 10) by enamelling, thereby reducing production costs for the vitreous layer (8, 10) in relation to conventional production methods by at least a factor of 15 to 20.
