FIELD: production of aluminum by electrolysis of cryolite- alumina melts. SUBSTANCE: given process of control over heat condition of aluminum electrolyzer includes change of intensity of heat losses from various structural elements by deposition of coats on them. Adhesive coat with blackness degree of 0.005-0.55 and 0.85-0.96 and thickness 0.05-0.15 mm is deposited on definite sections of heat releasing surfaces of structures of electrolyzer.
