The calendar enables without computation, the immediate reading of the present year, a past or future year, whether it is Julian or Gregorian. The invention is a device consisting of two interdependent tables, one comprising the double codification systems assigned to each of the years of the Julian and Gregorian calendars, the other the corresponding names of days of a calendar or leap year. The system enables, by locating the matching codes, to globally read any year as in a standard calendar, or to browse therein, in whichever direction, whatever the time interval selected. It can be in the form of wall year calendars with a single plate or monthly, with several sections, foldable pocket calendars, weekly or daily blank diaries, for indefinite and prolonged use in time that can be used as adjustable personal diary, or almanacs with historical or standard information content, notebook and so on.
