PURPOSE: To produce an Mn-Zn alloy and supply Mn ions and Zn ions to an Mn-Zn alloy plating bath using this alloy. ;CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a (15 to 90wt.%)Mn-Zn alloy, an Mn-Zn alloy is refined by using a molten salt forming agent of 750°C melting point as a flux. By this method, the production of the (15 to 90wt.%)Mn-Zn alloy can be done in an extremely high efficiency, without causing bumping even if refining temp. becomes a temp. not lower than the boiling point of Zn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
