PURPOSE: To adjust the position of a subsidiary underwater working machine in three- dimensional form, by installing a propulsion machine and an inverted Y-shaped arm on a main underwater working machine and connecting three towing cables driven out from the top end of each arm with the upper end and the left/right ends of the subsidiary underwater working machine. ;CONSTITUTION: Each small output propulsion device 2a is installed on the front/rear end surface and the left/right side surface of the main body 2 of a main underwater working machine 1 which permits the self navigation and towed navigation, and on the top surface and the left/right side surfaces of the main body 2, the lateral symmetrical type inverted Y-shaped bulging-out members consisting of a cylindrical top bulging-out member 3 which extends upward, right side bulging-out member 4 which extends right downward and a left side bulging-out member 5 which extends left downward are arranged. At the front part of the subsidiary body 7 of a subsidiary underwater working machine 6, the rear end parts of the cables 8-10 for towing which are driven out from the bulging-out members 3-5 of the main underwater working machine 1 are connected. Further, also a cable 061 for communication and power supply which is driven out from the rear end surface of the main underwater working machine 1 is loosely connected with the subsidiary underwater working machine 6, and a TV camera 11, etc., for self position detection are arranged at the rear part of the subsidiary underwater working device 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
