PURPOSE: To obtain a low-cost steel sheet excellent in resistance to corrosion by condensate by specifying a compsn. consisting of C, Mn, S, Cr and Fe. ;CONSTITUTION: This steel sheet excellent in resistance to corrosion by condensate consists of, by weight, 0.05% C, 0.2-1.6% Mn, 0.01% S, 7.0-13.0% Cr and the balance Fe with impurities or further contains at least one among 0.005-0.5% Si, 0.005-0.07% Al, 0.05-1.0% Cu, 0.05-2.0% Ni, 0.05-1.0% Mo, 0.005-0.1% Nb, 0.005-0.1% V, 0.005-0.1% Ti, 0.0005-0.01% Ca and 0.003-0.005% B. This steel sheet is suitable for use in an environment in which corrosion is caused by low acidic condensate of about pH3.5-5.5 contg. SO₂, Cl^- and CO₂.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
