PURPOSE:To rapidly and suitably prevent water pollution while keeping harmony with the natural environment and contribute to land conservation by utilizing the biological principle in the natural world. CONSTITUTION:This block 1 for prevention of water pollution is composed of a water-permeable block 1 including one or more kinds of specified microorganisms selected from groups of microorganisms classified to bacteria, fungi and yeasts inside it. The block 1 is made of a porous material and a microorganism-accommodating space 3 for accommodating and holding the specified microorganisms is formed in this block 1. Further, a bag unit 4 accommodating the specified microorganisms is dischargeably accommodated and held in the microorganism-accommodating space 3 of this block 1.
