PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user able to arbitrarily select an operation method most convenient for the user at the time of preparing a sewing program. ;SOLUTION: When a '? key' is operated (S104: YES), the ON/OFF of an input system flag F1 is switched (S106). In the case that it is not the '? key' (S104: NO), a command type program preparation processing is executed (S110) when the input system flag F1 is reset (S108: NO) and a menu type program preparation processing is executed (S112) when the input system flag F1 is set (S108: YES). By either one of the command type program preparation processing and the menu type program preparation processing, when required data are inputted by an operation procedure corresponding to the respective processings, the same sewing program is prepared based on the data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
