PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow each virtual space server to construct and manage a virtual space without depending on whether or not this is belonging to another virtual space server or which large-scaled virtual space this is belonging to by simultaneously linking and constructing plural virtual spaces on a network on a user terminal. ;SOLUTION: A user terminal 10 is provided with a constitution information obtaining means 11 for obtaining the information of a large-scaled virtual space constitution information file from the outside part on its own terminal, a server connecting means 12 for simultaneously connecting virtual space servers according to the information of a large-scaled virtual space constitution information file 20, and a large-scaled virtual space constituting means 13 for constituting and displaying a virtual space on a user's terminal 10 as a large-scaled virtual space. Then, plural virtual spaces existing on a network are linked and constructed on the user's terminal. Thus, in this server connecting process, the virtual space servers are connected based on at least the destination of connection of each virtual space server and the arrangement information of each virtual space in the large-scaled virtual space of the large-scaled virtual space constitution information file.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
