PURPOSE: To lower the density of Ca ion and sulfate ion which increases over time in an anionic exchange membrane and thereby achieve a stable operation for a long time with the concurrent maintenance of the separation performance of an ion exchange membrane by specifically arranging the ion exchange membranes adjacent to each positive and negative pole plate for generating a required electric field for ionic migration. ;CONSTITUTION: In an electrodialysis device which concentrates dissolved salt contained in drainage which is discharged from wet process flue gas desulfurization equipment for absorbing/separating sulfur oxide gas from combustion exhaust gas using an alkaline agent such as lime, ion exchange membranes adjacent to each positive and negative pole plate 1, 2 for generating a required electric field for ionic migration comprise an anionic exchange membrane with three pieces of cationic exchange membrane 3 arranged sequentially on the positive pole plate 1 side. On the other hand, two pieces of cationic exchange membrane 3 are sequentially arranged on the negative pole plate 2 side with the anionic exchange membrane 4 formed. Thus the cationic exchange membrane 3 and the anionic exchange member 4 are arranged alternately between the anionic exchange membrane 4 and anionic exchange membrane 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
