PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of polluting materials by effectively utilizing waste liquids contg. the harmful materials generated in a chrome plating plant. ;SOLUTION: A chrome plating chamber 1 is provided with a recovering vessel 2 for recovering plating liquids, waste plating liquids, chromic acid washing water, etc., therein without allowing these liquids to flow out of the chamber, a chrome plating cell 3, a filter machine 4 for the plating liquids, an impurity recovering electrolyte cell 5 for removing impurities, a chromic acid mist recovering device 6 and a chromic acid mist scrubbing column 7. The filter machine 4, the chromic acid mist recovering device 6, the chromic acid mist scrubbing column 7, etc., are communicated with the recovering vessel 2 and the impurity recovering electrolyte cell 5 is communicated with the chrome plating cell 3. The recovering vessel 2 is preferably installed under the ground of the chrome plating chamber 1 and the chrome plating cell 3 is also preferably installed within the recovering vessel 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
