PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify and desalt an exuding water by subjecting a condensed water obtained by condensing a vapor after evaporating the exuding water to an oxidation-treatment or reduction-treatment in the presence of a catalyst. ;SOLUTION: A raw water in a raw water storage tank 1 is sent to a degassing column 5 via a pH adjusting tank 2, a pump 3 and a heat exchanger 4, then the treated water is subjected to an evaporation/condensation treatment with evaporation/condensation devices. An oxidizing or reducing agent is added to the condensed water at an oxidizing agent (or reducing agent) addition tank 7, and the obtained water is passed through a catalyst column 11 via the pump 8, the heat exchanger 9 and the heater 10 and subjected to a catalytic wet oxidation- or reduction-treatment. The treated water and the treated gas are subjected to heat recovery with the heat exchanger 9, then subjected to gas-liq. separation tower 13, and the treated gas is discharged, and the treated water having a water quality equal to a distilled water is reused after recovering a waste heat with the heat exchanger 4. An org. matter in a concentrated water is adsorbed and removed at a powdery activated carbon reaction tank 14, and the activated carbon is separated at a solid-liq. separation tank 15, and the separated water is disposed by reusing, discharging, crystallizing, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
