PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject working robot capable of saving the labor and useful for controlling pests below a floor without scattering chemicals harmful for a human body by allowing the working robot to have a robot having a lifting structure. ;SOLUTION: A self-propelled means having a motor for driving to travel, a monitor TV, a computer, a display, etc., and a sending and receiving wireless circuit are equipped. The robot has a lifting structure 5 for riding cross an obstacle, a lightening device, a loaded computer, a CCD camera 12 for taking a picture of current circumstance, sending an image to a monitor, treating the image and recognizing the image and displaying the image on the display, a polar coordinate type arm and a robot hand 11 of the arm. The robot detects the presence or absence of white ants, has a fan 13 for removing powder dust on a food vessel when detecting the white ants, places and gathers the food vessel, and transmits the state of the food to a controlling monitor device at the host side. The host side controlling monitor device has functions for automatically measuring the reduced amount of the food, displaying the image of the food and proportion of the reducing amount of the food on the display and reporting the result through the computer at the host side by a voice.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
