PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform resource management by easily preparing an environment file for managing the resource of a real-time OS by making the resource peculiar for each module belonging to the real-time OS into GUI. ;SOLUTION: A parameter such as the number of tasks of the required module is set in a new module setting picture 44 on a display while using a keyboard or mouse, any selection module is selected as needed, and the number of resources of that module is set. When 'OK' is selected in the new module setting picture 44, a main picture 46 is displayed. The main picture 46 includes a resource setting picture such as a task attribute setting picture. By selecting the desired tag included in the main picture 46, a resource setting picture corresponding to that tag is displayed and respective resources are set. The selection module can be selected by a module adding picture 64 as well. When 'OK' is selected in the main picture 46, a preservation picture 66 is displayed. When a file name is inputted and 'preservation' is selected in the preservation picture 66, based on information set by an OS configurator, the environment file is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
