PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus in which an automatic gain control(AGC) measured value against inter-channel unbalanced gain is measured, in which a residual error is minimized and in which a more precise guidance operation is achieved. ;CONSTITUTION: The measurement of the unbalance of a gain is repeated in a predetermined AGC point when a system is calibrated. The relatively very small unbalance of an inter-channel gain in a ΔAGC amplifier 16 is generated. The measured unbalance is converted into a ΔAGC command so as to be supplied to the ΔAGC amplifier 16. The unbalance of the gain as its result is measured, and its value is added to a first measured value. This procedure is repeated until an error at a satisfactory level can be measured. A correction factor which is suitable for balancing the inter-channel gain regarding respective AGC values is generated so as to be stored in the hook-up table of a ΔAGC controller 20 so as to be supplied to a flying missile.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
