The method includes the steps of fastening magnetised shell parts (1.2) to the interior of a motor casing (1.1), and positioning the rotor (1.2-1.6) in the motor casing. The shell parts are magnetised through an magnetisation arrangement (1.1; 1.2) positioned outside the motor casing, and become excitation poles for the permanent excitation of the electro motor (1). A pole wheel (3) magnetised with a high number of poles, is arranged as a rotation pulse generator at one end of the rotor shaft (1.3). The pole wheel is positioned, if necessary after mounting a brush assembly of a commutation motor, on the free end of the rotor shaft remaining in the motor casing.
