SUBSTANCE: method involves determining at least one specific parameter of fertilizer by using small amount of sample; relating obtained value with adjustment parameter values which had been determined during natural tests; when unknown kind of fertilizer is used, relating value of this parameter to that of known fertilizer to determine required parameters of thrower. Specific parameter of fertilizer is registered by means of adequate measuring equipment. Method allows optimum adjustment of thrower to be provided without throwing large amounts of fertilizer on test stand, when manufacturer is not known or in case fertilizer's qualities have changed as a result of inadequate storage or transportation. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and provision for optimum adjustment of fertilizer thrower. 12 cl, 18 dwg
