The present invention monitors the motion of the multi-position spinning machine wound on the package by extruding the filament from the spinning pack at each position and proceeding as a bundle of yarns in the path, then dividing it into a plurality of solid lines at a certain place and advancing into a plurality of winding machines. And providing a method for scheduling an event at a predetermined time in preparation of a package with the aid of a digital computer, the method comprising the operational status of each location, the elapsed time since the start of each package, and the filament being wound up. Depends on a predetermined event time, a position configuration of the spinning machine, and a program by a knowledge database including an empirical rule base. The operating status of each location is detected by monitoring the presence of ongoing thread bundles and solid lines as a function of time so that this information is provided to the computer so that the computer compares the operating status of each location with the elapsed time since the start of each package. Indicates that the time for performing the event has been reached.
