PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge a fault occurrence place by discriminating the fault information signal of a data terminal and the network fault information signal of a digital private network which are the same pattern. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a terminal fault detection circuit 160 for detecting the consecutive signal of '1' being the fault information signal of the data terminal sent from the data terminal 120 at a transmission side and a terminal fault information changeover circuit 170 for changing over the fault information signal of the data terminal to the terminal fault information signal including one or more pieces of '0' to send to the private network 100 when this fault information signal is detected.
