PURPOSE: To improve the appearance by preventing the occurrence of cracking by a method in which an outer wall board joint treating material having laminated nonwoven fabrics and reinforcing coating films is bonded to the facing edges of the adjacent outer wall boards by acrossing the edges of both ends. ;CONSTITUTION: A nonwoven fabric 5 is placed on a release paper 2 and coated with a reinforcing coating by spraying or roll coater or curtain flow coater in such a way as to form a curved coating film to form a reinforcing coating film 6 by drying it by hot air or IR rays. The rear is treated and coated with an adhesive transfer-preventing agent 4, and the rear is further dried, coated with an adhesive 3, and provided with a both-side release paper 2. An under coat is applied to the outer wall board 12 subjected to the base treatment, the outer wall board joint treating material 1 is bonded, and top coats 7 are repeatedly applied to the upside of the material 1. In this case, a fixed interval 3b is provided between the adhesive layers 3 in such a way as to ease stress in the material 1. The operation efficiency can thus be enhanced and the occurrence of cracking can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
