PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately cope with illegal use of a card by providing an emergency countermeasure optical card, a detecting device composed of an optical sensor, and a detecting circuit. ;SOLUTION: As an emergency counter measure, the magnetic head of an existent reader is replaced with an optical sensor 5, and a magnetic detecting circuit is replaced with an optical detecting circuit. The emergency countermeasure optical card is used as a card. A pattern 2 for data recording of the card main body 1 is a recording part for various data. Dummies 3 and 4 are parts, where dummy data for making an illegal user to spend a time to analyze the data, are added. The pattern 2 is a combination of, for example, circles and varied in the thickness of segments drawing the circles and interval between the segments. Thus, temporary emergency countermeasures are taken at the lowest cost. The card may be a tentative one.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
